Talk2Type has independent contractor, telecommuter, and part-time/full-time staff positions available for Transcribers. For the independent contractor positions, you must be able to type 75+wpm, have a working computer, be computer literate, have a reliable e-mail account, a full-size cassette transcription machine, be extremely alert with a fine attention to detail and accuracy, be responsible and capable of never missing a tight deadline.

Transcribers must be highly proficient and experienced transcribers. Only transcribers with experience transcribing from digital files will be hired. Types of transcription: One-on-One Interviews, Dictation, Phone Calls, Lectures, Speeches, Conference Calls, Podcast Transcription, Focus Groups, Seminars, Panel Discussions, Multi-Person interviews, Research Interviews, Documentary Interviews, Reality TV - cinema verite, TV 'as-broadcast' and Film Continuity.

Hires Transcriptionists in Texas only. We are always in need of more typists. This position requires excellent spelling and grammar, an extensive vocabulary, proficiency in WordPerfect, and a typing speed of 80-90 WPM. You must have an IBM-compatible computer, preferably with WordPerfect already installed.

Hires Legal Transcribers and Law Enforcement Word Processors. Individuals who can transcribe audio content of criminal investigations, internal affairs, and patrol reports. You must have prior experience transcribing for a law enforcement agency (police department, sheriff's department, etc.), type 80+ WPM, have excellent grammar, outstanding accuracy and proofreading skills, have experience with MS Word, and must demonstrate strong computer literacy.

Full-time and part-time Transcription and Proofreading positions are available either on-site, in our Harvard Square office, or on a freelance contractual basis from your home. We produce summarized or verbatim transcripts for: Conferences, Interviews, Focus Groups, Films/TV/Commercials, Press Conferences, Technical Reports, Meetings and Voice Mail.

Hires at-home Financial Transcriptionists, News Transcribers and Proofreaders. Looking for experienced transcribers. Also seeking qualified applicants to produce verbatim transcripts for media clients.

Hires General and Legal Transcriptionists, Recorders and Proofreaders. Mass Transcription is always looking for skilled transcription professionals.

Hires Medical and Corporate Transcriptionists. A minimum of two (2) years of transcription experience in a clinical or hospital setting is required for Medical Transcriptionists. A minimum of three (3) years of transcription experience, with multiple voices, in the corporate or legal arenas is required for Corporate Transcriptionists.
